Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rises to $1,090,000,000; 6 second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to climb exciting players all across the nation. Because no one correctly hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing the jackpot will build to a projected $1,090,000,000! The cash value will be a projected $$527.3 million. The numbers from Monday, April 1st, 2024 drawing were 19-24-40-42-56 and Powerball number was 23.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were 6 tickets that correctly matched the first five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize.
