A single ticket in Oregon won $1,300,000,000 Powerball jackpot in Saturday night's drawing

One of the tickets purchased in Oregon for the Powerball lotto Saturday night matched all six numbers drawn. The player matching all five numbers and the Powerball won the $1,300,000,000 grand prize. The winning numbers from Saturday, April 6th, 2024 drawing were 22, 27, 44, 52, 69 with Power Ball 09. The winner can take a cash option worth $608.9 million before taxes, or choose to receive 29-year, 30-installment annuity option. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
