Nobody won Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth $129,000,000, bringing the projected grand prize on Saturday to $149,000,000. The cash value will be an estimated $$68.8 million. The winning numbers from Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 drawing were 02, 20, 22, 26, 47 with Power Ball 21.
Although there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 13 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. 5 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Also, 275 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 85 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 525 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 214 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 38,502 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. Two tickets sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. A ticket sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers as well as the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will receive $40,000. 75 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. There were 34 lucky Florida players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 412,365 tickets across the nation won a total of $0 prizes in the Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/69+1/26 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2.
