Powerball jackpot goes to $482,000,000 Saturday, August 9th, 2025; Four second prize tickets sold

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball has $482,000,000 on the line. The cash value stands at an estimated $$218.9 million up for grab. Powerball's jackpot increased since no one matched all 6 numbers drawn Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 drawing were 15-27-43-45-53 with Power Ball number 09.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were four tickets that matched all five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The four second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in CA(1), NJ(1), NY(1) and OH(1) will collect $1 million cash.
