Saturday's Powerball jackpot rises to $565,000,000; Three second prize tickets sold

The lottery official announced that the Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a rollover, creating a $565,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Saturday. The cash value stands at $$258.8 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, August 13th, 2025 drawing were 04, 11, 40, 44, 50 and Powerball number was 04. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 32 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 207,000,000 top prize.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were three second prize winners from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all 5 numbers but not the Powerball number. The three second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in NH(1), OR(1) and TX(1) will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 24 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 432 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 129 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but also purchased the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 1168 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $100. 333 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 62,216 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A single ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. There was one lucky Floridaer matched 4 lotto numbers plus the Powerball with Power Play and won $40,000. There were 144 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 44 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 781,959 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each play costs $2.
