Huge Powerball jackpot up for grabs Monday night

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the country. Because no player correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday's drawing the jackpot will leap to $477,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout will be $$229.7 million. The numbers drawn Saturday night, December 9th, 2023 were 05-25-26-40-60 with Power Ball 01. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 25 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a 1,730,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was only one 2nd prize winner from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in New York won 1 million dollar cash.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 15 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. 128 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 50 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine different prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing created 805,614 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
