Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $1,000,000,000; Three second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $1,000,000,000. The cash option will be a projected $$461.3 million up for grab. The prize amount was rolled over because no player matched all 6 winning numbers in Wednesday's $930,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 drawing were 10, 16, 29, 33, 69 and Powerball was 22.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were three lucky winners matched the first 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in MD(1), MI(1) and NJ(1) won $1 million cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 37 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 14 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 863 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 211 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 2637 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 774 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 129,297 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were five lucky Florida winners matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 307 lucky Floridaers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 104 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 1,476,497 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball game uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play option, which multiplies the original winnings except grand prize. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32.
