Huge Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

There has been another roll-over in the grand prize for the multistate Powerball - to $1,500,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$686.5 million up for grab. The jackpot grew because no one hit all six winning numbers from Wednesday night's $1,250,000,000 drawing. The numbers from Wednesday night, December 17th, 2025 were 25, 33, 53, 62, 66 and Powerball number was 17. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 44 draws since Monday, September 8th, 2025.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were eight lucky tickets matched all five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The two ticket(s) in AZ(1) and MA(1) matched the first five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2 million cash win! This is part of the Powerball feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the prize to $2,000,000 cash. Six other lucky ticket(s) purchased in CT(1), NY(3), PA(1) and TN(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 72 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 14 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
There were 289,282 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were eight lucky Florida winners matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. Eight tickets sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. These lucky ticket holders will collect $40,000 cash each. 504 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 143 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 3,305,638 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
