Powerball jackpot builds to $620,000,000 Saturday; 5 players won the second prize

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Since no one correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing, the jackpot will leap to a projected $620,000,000! The cash value stands at a projected $$310.8 million up for grab. The numbers from Wednesday, December 20th, 2023 drawing were 27-35-41-56-60 with Power Ball 16. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 30 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a 1,730,000,000 top prize.
While the grand prize was not awarded Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were 5 lucky players that correctly matched all five lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The three ticket(s) in Colorado(1), Kentucky(1) and Virginia(1) matched all 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win!
