Monday's Powerball jackpot climbs to $638,000,000; 3 players matched the first five numbers

The estimated grand prize for Saturday night's drawing was $620,000,000. According to Powerball, no player matched every number and the jackpot rolled up to $638,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$321.1 million. The numbers from Saturday, December 23rd, 2023 drawing were 09, 14, 17, 18, 53 and Powerball was 06. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 31 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. One lucky player from California won the 1,730,000,000 jackpot in Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 drawing.
While the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 3 lucky players that matched the first 5 numbers and won the second prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Arizona(1) and Missouri(1) won $1,000,000 cash. The other one second prize winner(s) from Nebraska also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!
In addition, 32 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 5 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
