Wednesday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $117,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in the multi-state Powerball drawing jumped to $117,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$53.4 million up for grab. No ticket sold for Monday's $103,000,000 drawing hit six winning numbers. The numbers from Monday night, December 23rd, 2024 were 22-42-44-57-64 and Powerball number was 18.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a sole lucky ticket correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in MI, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Monday evening included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 169 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 56 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Monday night included 484 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 155 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 40,992 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was a single lucky Florida winner matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 62 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 23 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 prize levels, there were 434,313 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Monday, December 23rd, 2024 drawing.
