One winner from AR won $1,700,000,000 jackpot from the Powerball drawing Wednesday night

Someone in AR is now really rich. One of the tickets purchased in the state for Wednesday night's Powerball lotto matched all six numbers drawn. The lucky player matching all 5 numbers plus the Powerball won the $1,700,000,000 jackpot. The winning numbers from Wednesday, December 24th, 2025 drawing were 04-25-31-52-59 with Power Ball 19. The jackpot winner will now need to decide to either take the 29-year, 30-installment annuity, or the one time cash lump-sum in the amount of $781.3 million before tax withholding. The winning ticket holder is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
