Powerball jackpot jumps to $412,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

There were no Powerball lottery jackpot winners for Monday's $391,000,000 dollar drawing, so the grand prize will build to a projected $412,000,000 with the cash value at $$195.5 million Wednesday, February 28th, 2024. The numbers from Monday night, February 26th, 2024 were 24, 29, 42, 51, 54 with Power Ball 16. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 24 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky winner from Michigan walked away with 810,000,000 jackpot in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a single lucky winner matched all five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one ticket(s) in New York matched all 5 lotto numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win!
Other prizes won Monday night included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
With 9 prize levels, the Monday night's drawing created 453,388 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the winnings but not jackpot. The minimum Powerball jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
