Saturday's Powerball jackpot builds to $200,000,000; Two players matched the first five numbers

The grand prize in the multi-state Powerball lottery drawing built to $200,000,000 for the Saturday drawing. The cash option stands at an estimated $$90.7 million. No ticket sold for Wednesday's $178,000,000 drawing hit 6 numbers. The winning numbers from Wednesday, January 1st, 2025 drawing were 06, 12, 28, 35, 66 and Powerball number was 26. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 11 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. A single lucky player from NY won the 260,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, December 7th, 2024 drawing.
While there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were two lucky winners correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The two lucky ticket(s) purchased in AZ(1) and NC(1), each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional major winners Wednesday evening included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not just matched 4+1, but also bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! There were 40,156 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. One ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will collect $10,000 cash. There were 84 lucky Florida players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 28 lucky Florida players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
