No ticket matched all 6 numbers. Powerball jackpot increases to $240,000,000 Wednesday night

The Powerball game jackpot increased because no player matched all 6 numbers from Monday night's $220,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize rised to $240,000,000 for Wednesday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$107.4 million. The numbers from Monday, January 6th, 2025 drawing were 17, 34, 46, 66, 67 with Power Ball 14. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 13 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a 260,000,000 top prize.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were a total of 11 third prize winning tickets. 1 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
In addition, 170 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 60 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Monday night included 489 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 149 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 36,466 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A ticket sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will receive $40,000. There were 59 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 20 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 prize tiers, the Monday night's drawing created 389,523 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
