Monday's Powerball jackpot rises to $285,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over the grand prize to $285,000,000 for Monday night's drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$124.9 million up for grab. Nobody matched all six numbers to win the $263,000,000 grand prize Saturday. The next Powerball lottery drawing will be at 10:59 PM Monday night. The numbers from Saturday night, January 11th, 2025 were 03-06-32-37-65 with Power Ball 04. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 15 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a 260,000,000 top prize.
While the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was a single lucky winner matched all 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in NJ won 1 million dollar cash.
Also, 28 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 7 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! There were 64,255 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. 2 tickets sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 2 tickets sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. These lucky ticket holders will collect $40,000 cash each. 100 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 34 lucky Florida winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different prize levels, there were a total of 673,452 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, January 11th, 2025 drawing.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game.
