Enormous Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

With no winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball game grand prize is going to be worth $331,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$145.1 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Saturday. The amount carried over since no one hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $303,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 drawing were 08-41-52-53-58 with Power Ball number 07. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 17 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a 260,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky ticket matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in OH will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 1 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Also, 208 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 46,388 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. A single ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will collect $10,000 cash. 69 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 21 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine different prize levels, there were 564,445 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 drawing.
