Enormous Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

With no winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball game grand prize is going to be worth $331,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$145.1 million) the next time the multistate lottery is drawn on Saturday. The amount carried over since no one hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $303,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, January 15th, 2025 drawing were 08-41-52-53-58 with Power Ball number 07. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 17 draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a 260,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky ticket matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 21 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
