Saturday's Powerball jackpot built to $46,000,000, because nobody matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night. The cash option for Saturday stands at an estimated $$20.5 million. Wednesday's $31,000,000 is the total grand prize amount - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, January 22nd, 2025 were 05, 06, 27, 40, 49 and Powerball number was 05.
Though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. 6 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. There were 0 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 127 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 48 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 368 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 157 additional players not just matched 3+1, but in addition chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
