Saturday's Powerball jackpot breaks to $206,000,000; One player won the second prize

With no winner in the latest draw, the Powerball grand prize will be worth an estimated $206,000,000 (cash option $$99.4 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Saturday. The amount rolled over because no player hit all 6 winning numbers to win the $188,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, January 31st, 2024 were 15-18-19-41-43 and Powerball number was 14. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for thirteen draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. A single lucky winner from Michigan won the 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Although there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a sole lucky ticket correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in Texas, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 6 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Other winners Wednesday evening included 205 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 71 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition chose the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 498 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 178 additional players not only matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different prize levels, there were 411,335 tickets across the nation won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 drawing.
