No jackpot ticket sold last night. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rises to $138,000,000

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball lottery drawing rised to $138,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$65.8 million up for grab. No ticket sold for Monday's $125,000,000 drawing hit five white ball numbers and the Powerball number. The numbers from Monday, July 1st, 2024 drawing were 05-09-32-39-55 and Powerball number was 09. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for nine draws since Wednesday, June 12th, 2024. A single lucky winner from NJ walked away with 221,000,000 grand prize in Monday, June 10th, 2024 drawing.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, some people still walked away with big money. A total of 8 lucky players won the third prize. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Also, 144 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 72 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 448 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 184 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.

Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Each play costs $2.
