The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing soars to $248,000,000

The Powerball grand prize has been pumped up to $248,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$112.4 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Monday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since no one matched all six numbers to take the $234,000,000 jackpot Saturday night. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, July 12th, 2025 were 08, 16, 24, 33, 54 with Power Ball 18.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were two 2nd prize winning tickets from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five numbers but not the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in TX will collect $1 million cash. The other 1 second prize winner(s) from WI also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Additional major winners Saturday evening included 11 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 52,624 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was a single lucky Florida winner matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 114 lucky Floridaers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 41 lucky Florida winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 prize tiers, there were a total of 578,088 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, July 12th, 2025 drawing.
