Wednesday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $325,000,000; Two second prize tickets sold

The Powerball jackpot has been pumped up to a projected $325,000,000 (cash value $$145.3 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Wednesday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over because no one matched all 6 winning numbers to take the $308,000,000 grand prize Monday night. The numbers from Monday, July 21st, 2025 drawing were 08-11-28-33-42 with Power Ball number 02. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 22 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 207,000,000 top prize.
Although the grand prize was not hit Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were two 2nd prize winners from Monday night's Powerball drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The two second prize winning ticket(s) bought in CA(1) and GA(1) won 1 million dollar cash.
Other major winners Monday night included 8 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional players not just matched 4+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other winners Monday night included 287 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 86 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition bought the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 623 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number.
