Powerball jackpot jumps to $154,000,000 Wednesday night; Three second prize tickets sold

The grand prize in the multi-state Powerball drawing built to $154,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$73.3 million. None of the tickets sold for Monday's $144,000,000 drawing matched 6 winning numbers. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, July 29th, 2024 were 11, 27, 30, 33, 44 with Power Ball 16. The Powerball jackpot has been rolling over for 11 draws since Saturday, July 6th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in OH, matched all six numbers for a 138,000,000 top prize.
Although there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were three lucky players that matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The three second prize winning ticket(s) bought in won $1,000,000 cash.
In addition, 5 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 1 additional players not only matched 4+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 189 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 77 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Monday evening included 462 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 164 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.

Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game.
