Saturday's Powerball jackpot rises to $286 million; 3 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball lottery jackpot has jumped up to $286 million (cash option $196.6 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Saturday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over since nobody hit all 6 numbers to take the $268 million grand prize Wednesday night. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, June 2nd, 2021 were 06-07-11-66-67 and Powerball was 19. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 136 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were 3 2nd prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The 3 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Indiana(1), Virginia(1) and Washington(1) will collect 1 million dollar cash.
Additional major winners Wednesday evening included 16 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other winners Wednesday night included 412 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 147 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each!
