Powerball jackpot rises to $44,000,000 Saturday, June 7th, 2025; 2 tickets won the second prize

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball lottery drawing grew to $44,000,000 for the Saturday drawing. The cash value stands at a projected $$19.7 million. None of the tickets sold for Wednesday's $30,000,000 drawing matched six numbers. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, June 4th, 2025 were 05-17-23-35-45 and Powerball was 24.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were 2 tickets that matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) sold in MD(1) and NY(1) won $1 million cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 206 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 81 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but additionally chose the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 388 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 128 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 23,729 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were two lucky Florida players matched 4 lotto numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 59 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 32 lucky Florida winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.

America's favorite Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
