No jackpot ticket sold. Powerball jackpot increases to $44,000,000

The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize rised to $44,000,000 (cash value $$21.2 million) Monday night when there were no top prize winners in the $34,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Saturday, June 15th, 2024 drawing were 04-36-48-54-56 with Power Ball number 02.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. 13 third prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 210 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 66 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 517 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 166 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 40,748 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was a single lucky Florida player matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 71 lucky Florida winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 17 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine ways to win, there were 426,462 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, June 15th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $2.
