No one matched all 6 numbers. Saturday's Powerball jackpot jumps to $113,000,000

There has been another roll-over in the grand prize for the multistate Powerball - to $113,000,000. The cash option will be an estimated $$54.3 million up for grab. The grand prize grew because nobody hit all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number from Wednesday night's $95,000,000 drawing. The winning numbers from Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 drawing were 04, 09, 36, 47, 56 and Powerball number was 07.
Although the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 13 third prize lucky winners. These included 12 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 154 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 50 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! There were 507 tickets that correctly matched three white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 171 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 36,085 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There were three lucky Floridaers matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 69 lucky Florida players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 19 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 prize levels, there were 394,874 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball lottery can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners may choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
