The grand prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $320,000,000. The cash option stands at an estimated $$150.8 million. The prize amount was rolled over since nobody hit all 6 numbers in Wednesday's $295,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night. The numbers from Wednesday, March 5th, 2025 drawing were 24-28-40-63-65 with Power Ball 20. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past twenty draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. One lucky winner from OR walked away with 331,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, January 18th, 2025 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. 9 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 6 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
In addition, 205 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 51 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 460 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 163 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With nine prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 418,138 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
