The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $600,000,000

Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing has yielded no jackpot winner for the $559,000,000 grand prize. With no one matched all 6 winning numbers in Powerball game , Saturday night's drawing will be worth a projected $600,000,000 for a single winner. The cash value stands at a projected $$293.4 million. The numbers from Wednesday, March 13th, 2024 drawing were 21, 29, 54, 59, 62 with Power Ball number 04. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 31 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky player from Michigan walked away with 810,000,000 jackpot in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were three second prize winners from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in New York(1) and Texas(1) will collect $1,000,000 cash. The other 1 second prize winner(s) from Georgia also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2 million cash win!
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 14 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 78,959 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. One ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. A single ticket sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will collect $40,000. 153 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 23 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 different prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 861,505 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The minimum Powerball grand prize is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
