Monday's Powerball jackpot builds to $800,000,000; Five second prize tickets sold

The Powerball lottery grand prize increased since nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number from Saturday night's $750,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize rolled up to $800,000,000 for Monday night's drawing. The cash value stands at $$384.8 million. The numbers from Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 drawing were 06-23-25-34-51 with Power Ball number 03. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 35 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky player from Michigan won the 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
Although the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were five lucky players that correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 5 lucky ticket(s) purchased in California(1), Florida(1), Indiana(1), Texas(1) and Washington(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 38 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 14 additional players not only matched 4+1, and also chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system from which winning numbers are chosen.
