Powerball jackpot rolls up to $65,000,000 Wednesday, May 7th, 2025; One second prize ticket sold

There were no tickets sold with all six winning numbers in the latest multi-state Powerball game draw, and the estimated grand prize for Wednesday's drawing will jump to $65,000,000, according to lottery officials. The cash option stands at an estimated $$29.9 million. The numbers from Monday night, May 5th, 2025 were 16-34-40-45-66 and Powerball number was 19.
Although there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was only one lucky player that matched all 5 numbers and won the second prize. The one ticket(s) in PR matched the first 5 numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win!
Additional prizes won Monday evening included 3 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 24,131 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was a single lucky Floridaer matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There was a lucky Florida player matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball with Power Play and won $40,000. 27 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 11 lucky Florida winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different ways to win, the Monday night's drawing generated 253,976 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
