The Powerball grand prize is on the move again. The jackpot for the Saturday, May 9th, 2026 drawing goes to $47,000,000 with the cash value at an estimated $$21.1 million. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, May 6th, 2026 were 18-27-51-65-68 with Power Ball number 05.
While the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 11 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. 2 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
In addition, 116 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 46 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 307 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 112 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.

America's favorite Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
