The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps climbing and is going to be up to $82,000,000 for the next drawing on Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$37.7 million. The amount was rolled over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers to win the $65,000,000 grand prize Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 drawing were 14, 15, 30, 40, 59 and Powerball was 20.
While the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. A total of 7 lucky winners won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. These included 5 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 130 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 39 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 352 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $100. 144 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 26,003 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. One ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. There were 43 lucky Floridaers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 17 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine different ways to win, there were 286,111 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 drawing.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Each play costs $2.
