Nobody won the jackpot. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot moves to $106,000,000

The jackpot for Wednesday Powerball game moved to $106,000,000 (cash value $$48.2 million) after nobody matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number Monday night. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, May 12th, 2025 were 15, 16, 41, 48, 60 with Power Ball 21. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for seven draws since Monday, April 28th, 2025. One lucky player from KY walked away with 168,000,000 jackpot in Saturday, April 26th, 2025 drawing.
Though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 10 third prize lucky winning tickets with or without Power Play option. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Additional prizes won Monday night included 116 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 37 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but also chose the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 317 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 115 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 25,058 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. One ticket sold in Florida matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will receive $10,000 cash. 31 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 9 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 278,824 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Monday, May 12th, 2025 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system from which winning numbers are chosen. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
