The grand prize in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps climbing and is going to be up to $177,000,000 for the upcoming drawing on Monday. The cash value stands at an estimated $$77.8 million up for grab. The amount was rolled over because no player matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number to win the $163,000,000 grand prize Saturday night. The winning numbers from Saturday, May 24th, 2025 drawing were 12-18-28-48-52 and Powerball number was 05. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 12 draws since Monday, April 28th, 2025. A single lucky winner from KY walked away with 168,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, April 26th, 2025 drawing.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. A total of 16 lucky tickets won the third prize. These included 14 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 316 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 89 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 770 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 250 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 49,315 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. 2 tickets sold in Florida matched 4 lotto numbers plus the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. 120 tickets were sold in the state of Florida which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. There were 33 lucky Floridaers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different prize tiers, there were a total of 527,900 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Saturday, May 24th, 2025 drawing.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game.
