One lucky player in CA walked away with $207,000,000 Powerball jackpot in Saturday night's drawing

A person in CA is now really rich. One of the tickets purchased in the state for Saturday night's Powerball lottery matched all 6 numbers drawn. The player matching all 5 numbers and also the Powerball won the $207,000,000 grand prize. The winning numbers from Saturday, May 31st, 2025 drawing were 01, 29, 37, 56, 68 and Powerball number was 13. The winner can take a cash option worth $91 million before taxes, or decide to receive 29-year, 30-installment annuity option. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, place it in a secure place and contact lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Together with the jackpot awarded on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, more people walked away with huge prizes. There were two second prize winners from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 numbers but not the Powerball number. The 2 second prize ticket(s) from FL(1) and NH(1) matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Also, 9 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
