Powerball jackpot rises to $103,000,000 Monday night; 1 ticket won the second prize

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to increase exciting players all across the nation. Since no player correctly hit all six numbers in Monday's drawing the grand prize will leap to a projected $103,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$48.6 million. The winning numbers from Saturday night, November 9th, 2024 were 11-24-50-56-66 with Power Ball number 16. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 7 draws since Saturday, October 26th, 2024. A single lucky player from GA won the 478,000,000 jackpot in Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 drawing.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a single 2nd prize winning ticket from Saturday night's drawing, matching all five numbers but not the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in NJ will collect $1 million cash.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 16 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional players not just matched 4+1, but in addition bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 215 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 64 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 504 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 156 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
With 9 prize tiers, there were 414,385 tickets across the nation won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, November 9th, 2024 drawing.
