Powerball jackpot breaks to $593,000,000; One ticket won the second prize

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to grow exciting players all across the nation. Since nobody correctly matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing the grand prize will increase to a projected $593,000,000! The cash value stands at a projected $$277.6 million up for grab. The numbers from Monday, November 17th, 2025 drawing were 07-33-50-57-66 and Powerball was 23. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 31 draws since Monday, September 8th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by two lucky tickets sold in MO and TX, matched all six numbers and split a 1,800,000,000 top prize.
Even though the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a single lucky player that matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) bought in WV, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Monday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Powerball uses a 5/69+1/26 system to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Power Play, which multiplies the prizes but not jackpot. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout instead.
