The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $244,000,000

The Powerball grand prize increased because no player matched all 6 winning numbers from Wednesday night's $223,000,000 drawing. The next grand prize climbed to $244,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The cash option stands at a projected $$114.2 million. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, October 8th, 2025 were 08, 10, 44, 48, 54 and Powerball was 14.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. A total of 15 lucky winners won the third prize with or without Power Play option. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Also, 198 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 59 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 524 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 190 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
