Powerball jackpot rises to $99,000,000 Saturday, September 20th, 2025; One second prize ticket sold

The jackpot in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $99,000,000. The cash option will be a projected $$46.3 million up for grab. The prize amount was rolled over since no player hit all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's $81,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball lottery drawing is Saturday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 drawing were 07-30-50-54-62 and Powerball number was 20.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was a sole second prize winner from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in CA, each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 3 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 6 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 149 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 58 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 405 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 151 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 29,754 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of Florida. There was one lucky Florida winner matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball with Power Play and won $40,000.
