Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $120,000,000 Friday; Two tickets matched the first 5 numbers

There has been another rollover in the grand prize for the multistate Mega Millions game - to $120,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$55.8 million. The jackpot grew because no player hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number from Tuesday night's $97,000,000 drawing. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, April 9th, 2024 were 34, 43, 51, 52, 69 with Mega Ball 25 and Megaplier 4.
Although there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were two lucky winners correctly matched all five lotto numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in KS,NY won $1,000,000 cash each.
Additional prizes won Tuesday evening included 5 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 277 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. There were 794 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were 1,292,862 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, April 9th, 2024 drawing.
