The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $166,000,000 for the Friday drawing. The cash option will be $$75.2 million. None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $150,000,000 drawing hit 5 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball number. The winning numbers from Tuesday night, August 5th, 2025 were 12, 27, 42, 59, 65 and the Mega Ball was 02, Megaplier was . The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 38 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky player from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. 7 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 119 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 305 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
