Friday's Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $157,000,000; One player won the second prize

Friday's Mega Millions lottery grand prize leaped to $157,000,000, because no one matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night. The cash option for Friday stands at an estimated $$72 million. Tuesday's $138,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The numbers drawn Tuesday night, December 30th, 2025 were 18, 43, 49, 63, 69 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier X.
Though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was only one 2nd prize winning ticket from Tuesday night's drawing, matching the first five lotto numbers except the Mega Ball number. The one lucky ticket(s) sold in , each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Tuesday night included 4 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
