Tuesday's Mega Millions jackpot rises to $366,000,000; One player matched the first 5 numbers

The jackpot for Tuesday Mega Millions jumped to $366,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$165.6 million) after no one matched all 6 numbers Friday night. The numbers from Friday, February 6th, 2026 drawing were 13, 21, 25, 52, 62 with Mega Ball 19 and Megaplier X. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 91 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky player from IL walked away with $344 million grand prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There was only one lucky winner correctly matched all five numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in won a quarter million dollar cash each.
Also, 9 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional prizes won Friday evening included 175 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 452 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine ways to win, there were a total of 556,536 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, February 6th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players in prize winnings. About 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Around 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating lottery states. Mega Millions drawings occur 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. To play Mega Millions, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then select a Mega Ball number from a set of 25. The odds of winning are about 1 to 14. The odds of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
