Without a big winner in the latest drawing, the Mega Millions multistate lottery game has carried over its grand prize to $563,000,000 for Tuesday night's drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$265.4 million. No one hit all 6 winning numbers to win the $525,000,000 jackpot Friday. The next Mega Millions game drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Tuesday night. The numbers drawn Friday night, February 23rd, 2024 were 04, 06, 40, 41, 60 and the Mega Ball was 11, Megaplier was 5.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 15 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. Among them, 15 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
In addition, 419 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 1296 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine different ways to win, there were a total of 2,055,088 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, February 23rd, 2024 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday at 7:59 PM Pacific Time. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
