There were no tickets sold with all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in the last multi-state Mega Millions draw, and the projected grand prize for Tuesday's drawing will roll up to $215,000,000, according to lottery officials. The cash option will be $$98.3 million up for grab. The numbers from Friday, January 9th, 2026 drawing were 12-30-36-42-47 with Mega Ball 16 and Megaplier X.

While there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. A total of 8 lucky winners won the 3rd prize. These included 8 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 136 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. 369 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With nine different prize levels, there were 451,124 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, January 9th, 2026 drawing.
