The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a carry over, generating an $672,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Friday. The cash value will be a projected $$293.3 million. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, July 14th, 2026 were 02, 04, 10, 48, 56 and the Mega Ball was 22, Megaplier was . No one won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 136 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were 3 2nd prize winning tickets from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Mega Ball number. The 3 lucky ticket(s) purchased in , each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Also, 282 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. Around 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players through prize winnings. About 15% is used to as retailer commissions and lottery operating costs. Around 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating states.
