Nobody matched all the Mega Millions five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number for Friday, July 3rd, 2026 (that includes you) and the $542,000,000 jackpot will keep growing larger. No worries. That just gives us all a chance to win an even bigger Mega Millions lottery payout when the next drawing happens on Tuesday, July 7th, 2026. By then the estimated grand prize will jump to $576,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout will be an estimated $$253.9 million. With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 676,678 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Friday, July 3rd, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record largest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to buy the Megaplier option, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
