FL Mega Millions lottery News and Payout for Friday, January 24th, 2025 Drawing
With no winner in the last drawing, the Mega Millions grand prize will be worth $44,000,000 (cash option $$19.5 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Tuesday. The amount rolled over because no one hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number to win the $28,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday night, January 24th, 2025 were 08, 12, 43, 52, 62 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier x2.
Though the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 7 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 7 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional winners Friday night included 141 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 431 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were a total of 717,470 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, January 24th, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions lottery is played in 43 states and D.C. The odds of winning any prizes are about 1 to 14. The chances of winning Mega Millions grand prize are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions advertised grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
