The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has been pumped up to a projected $243,000,000 (cash option $$108 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The grand prize amount has been carried over since no player hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $223,000,000 grand prize Friday night. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, June 6th, 2025 were 16-40-54-56-57 with Mega Ball number 03 and Megaplier x.

Although the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. A total of 10 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Also, 142 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 402 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With 9 prize levels, there were 553,794 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, June 6th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 7:59 p.m. Pacific Time. To play, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then choose 1 Mega Ball number from a set of 25. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can choose one lump sum cash payout option instead.
